Some maps don't show up on I'76...

Post by Venom »

I say LightFoot's Maps was still up and downloaded a bunch of maps I used to play on...but the names don't show up in the map selection, just empty spaces or random letters. I can click on some and load up the maps, and others will just crash. Any help?

same situation might happen but in i76 GOLD edition, not in i76 i guess.
If you are talking about original i76 version 1.00 - 1.083, wrong assignment is in mission file. (author's fault)
specify what map it is plz
for i76 ( are you sure all custom maps in ADDON?)

I was playing with Tex on Sunday and neither of us could find Frost Dogs in our map list which is strange because I know it was there a few weeks / months ago and the only changes I can think of to my game are installing the new Diver map pack that was just released. Could that have done it?

It's too bad because Frost Dogs is my favorite version since it has the nice far view distance and it doesn't have the extra jump (it's already hard enough to finish a lap!) I really don't love the winter textures but it's worth it for the view distance to me. I want to learn how to edit maps soon. I would absolutely love to create real life racetracks in the game like Laguna Seca and Suzuka Circuit.

I've been playing racing simulation games my whole life, Gran Turismo 1, 2, 3, 4, Forza 2. I have almost every real life race track from those games memorized. How awesome would it be to have real race tracks in i76.

it might be called Frost Mines
Bring water to a boil. Lightly salt and oil. Add pasta. Cook until al dente...

Yep you're right. For some reason I thought I remembered a version of it that had a farther view distance than Lost Mines and didn't have the extra jump too. But now when I compare them Lost Mines seems to have a good view distance. Hmmm I don't know what's going on here.

Same. It's pretty much my favorite track of all time.

Do you guys *REALLY* want someone to make a road track, with no jumps, with crash protection in the corners and 17 checkpoints?

It sounds like a lot of time to commit to a map a couple people would enjoy a couple of laps then tuck away to get dusty...
