Re: RIP WINGNUT

From where I lie, the oceans are deep and dry
Empty
The sky is black smoke, bearing winter's frozen gifts

It will snow in this land for a thousand years,
And I will sleep under it
Forever

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Hey yo. My laptop died awhile ago thus why I haven't been around. Got a new PC a few days ago. I've been out of the gaming loop since 2010 so it's nice to play modern games again lol. I plan to reinstall I76 soon and will be around come Tuesday. My laptop was running Win8 and it was a tad irriating...

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Afraid I've yet to get around to fixing my nGlide problem.

But is there any way one of you guys could livestream footage so my friends and I could sit here and watch while we eat popcorn and get really high?

If I can get a few of them interested, we might have full games in our near future.

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Lol no worries, still have my original Force Feedback Pro that came bundled with I76. Getting it to connect to a USB 3.0 port and finding drivers for Windows 10 will be the tricky part.

BTW how do you guys organize games? You all still on ICQ? Oh and what's the Teamspeak server password?

Re: Happy 20th Anniversary, Nitro Pack!

I'll never forget the day I got home from school to find that little UPS package containing The Interstate '76 Arsenal waiting on my front porch. Had just upgraded to 40mb of RAM and a Voodoo Rush 3D card. Felt like it took ages to install on my 4x CD-ROM drive. Boy did the game look purdy. And stil...

Re: Creating a race map, runs fine as a combat map, crashes when I add checkpoints

Of course. I'm pretty OCD about ease of installation and preserving directory structure. Hell, the map is a great example of how anal I am, lol. It's painfully small and simple, but I tweak and test the hell out of it. The damn jump alone, I made it so you can clear it in a heavier car with a medioc...

Re: Creating a race map, runs fine as a combat map, crashes when I add checkpoints

That was totally it. They work great now. How incredibly goofy. I have REGEN and SPAWN in allcaps. The map editor guide even says CHECK1. Oh well, thanks for clarifying that. I also discovered that they have a VERY wide detection area, thankfully. So far, no problems with missing laps on the map. Gu...

Yeah, runs fine as a RAC file with no checkpoints.

If you have any I76 files of race maps, I could use them for reference.

Re: Check the scopes

Sorry I missed it, was board game night.

I keep thinking it would be nice to have an android app that notifies you when there are games running. Anyone here good with cobbling together some scripting?

Creating a race map, runs fine as a combat map, crashes when I add checkpoints

So I've been working on a little race map. Have been testing it as a CBT map and it's been just fine. I've got plenty of spawn points and a regen. From what I can tell from the documentation, to make it into a race map, all I have to do is create one vehicle on the starting line with the label blank...
