Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Whoa... Tuesday...again...already? I suppose I'll think of something for us to do. See you in about 8.5 hours... The maps: Challenge Maps! - Lones Challenge (6:00 - 7:00) [FD]'s TNE! NH! - Day Light Two (7:00 - 8:00) [FD]'s TNE! NH! - Synchronica (8:00 - 9:00) Indigo Raceway - Indigo Raceway (9:00 -...

You're going to make a mess of things.

Quit trying to be the hero we didn't ask for...go save GoG.

Re: Unofficial Nitro Pack Patch III Released!

Dude...WTF are you on? Seriously. You didn't know that the registry keys weren't necessary for the game, you're editing EXE's to fix mis-labled DLL's and now you want a post-mortem on the patches? No. Please stop asking for paid-level support from technicians working for free on topics you don't und...

Re: Site Outage (9/21 - 9/27)

OK... We didn't use the magic word or proper incantation the last couple times we tried to "reason" with Site5... Still no reply to the ticket. Still no information regarding what sort of "phishing scam" we were supposed to be running...however, *THIS* particular chat representat...

Re: Site Outage (9/22 - Current)

Apparently, changing the DNS settings at the Registrar has bricked the UNC for PLAY and BARK.

Stand by.

Site Outage (9/21 - 9/24)

Well... Seems the old adage that you shouldn't put all your eggs in one basket holds true. Long story short: Our "friends" at Site5 have decided that since *THEY* let one of the e-mail accounts associated with INTERSTATE76.COM get compromised that *THEY* would disable *ALL* site ser...

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Well, I guess all I need to do is skip out of town a little more often so people miss me...

Good event last night, kids!

I'll see you on Sunday (maybe). I'm heading up the hill to see if I can't catch a little fall rain at the cabin.

Be good!

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Tuesday...again? Man, I know I wasn't at the event last week but it seriously seems like I just hosted.... ...anyway...see you in about 8.5 hours. I'll see if I can't scare up Grey Fox for a couple laps, too: 6:15 - 7:00 - Challenge Maps! - Nitro Rush 7:00 - 8:00 - [FD]s TNE! NH! - Lost Dogs 8:00 - ...

Re: 30fps patch for base i76

To be honest? I don't think you have a clue what you're talking about. I also think you're giving people bad information and I'd like you to stop. To reiterate for everyone still reading: *EDITING THE EXE IS BAD. DO NOT EDIT THE EXE* However, in reply to your actual question, I think you missed the ...

Re: Enough with whining about I'76...

It solves the peer to peer IP problem from behind a router if you bother to forward port 21157 as noted... I can't say for sure, 100% that the game doesn't work on ANET2, however I can say that it doesn't crash when you try and host, it just never populates on the web interface. I suppose I can ask ...

Re: 30fps patch for base i76

OK... So, why are we editing an EXE? (See the above post about multiple versions of the same file....) If your idea actually works wouldn't it be WAY easier to rename the DLL and the folder instead of busting out a hex editor and running the risk of corrupting the file? Hell, you could even make *CO...

Enough with whining about I'76...

Hey kids, I'm getting kind of tired about everyone whining about I'76 not doing this or not doing that... It's currently *NOT* playable on *ANY* of the ANET2 servers and I haven't seen anyone bother to try and host it IP to IP. This means *ALL* you want out of the game is to play the T.R.I.P and/or ...

Re: 30fps patch for base i76

No. I will not give you the offsets in the EXE's to allow you to edit them. We've already have two people actively working on them (without consulting each other) and it's causing a rift with multiple versions of the same file(s) floating around site to site. A third person at that party would be di...

Re: 30fps patch for base i76

All anyone has ever had to do was *ASK*... ...but egos get in the way and that's why this game is going to die. You know, there's *NO* possible way that the guy who's owned INTERSTATE76.COM since 2001, hosted forums, collected all the maps, helped fund patch development and fired up an ANET2 server ...
