Yet another Tuesday...yet another event... I've got a couple maps in mind... ...let's see how this pans out. See you in about 10 hours. Re: The Friday Night Feh!

It's my tiny coupe...

It's like a hobbit and gets lost in the crowd...or people could just be driving like ass a lot lately.

Re: The Friday Night Feh!

Gee, Wayek... You sound like you're tired of people driving through each other like we're playing NFS in Ghost Mode...? Perhaps not everyone knows the following little facts: If you press "Page Down" when you're in F2 (or F3) you zoom out and get a better view of the race track. I b...

Re: Combat Challenge for GrizZz

...and it's too bad you waited for so long...

I was going to test out a new D5 variant of my coupe against you but just played it against myself at "Hall of Mirrors" and was completely underwhelmed...

...needless to say, I'm back to driving the blunt object...

Re: Open race challenge

Apparently, I chose wisely...

Here's a little motivation for the race...

Yes, that's a D5 car...and yes with a total running time of 4:44 (151MB) on the video you can bet that I'm in under 4:30...

Map Repair Requests

Have a favorite map with issues? Are the colors horrible? Is there object that needs to be permanent but isn't? Would a non-terrain/road surface change make it X times better? Drop us a line here and we'll review your problem. If we think it's worth the time and effort we'll go ahead and get it on t...

Re: Lizart says hello

Do what our other friend in Poland does and go to bed early, then wake up for a couple hours of Nitro. Let's see...you're nine hours ahead so you don't even have to try *THAT* hard to find us. The challenge maps start for you on Wednesday morning at 3:00 and the first map of the TNE starts...

Re: Map palette update: Morton Raceway

I'm glad you like it.

All you 8-bit kiddies should say "Thanks!" to FA and Tex for finding you a palette that doesn't suck...

Re: Lizart says hello

Greetings and welcome aboard.

Feel free to swing by the Tech Support forum for tips and tricks on how to get started.

Looks like there's some map testing in progress this afternoon so you may want to make sure you've got all the map packs, too.

Map making: 8.3 naming convention

It is *HIGHLY* recommended that all maps be named using the 8.3 (Romeo) naming convention. Long file names (Joliet) are not supported in the Interstate '76 or Arsenal Pack editors due to a hard coded 13 character limit for the .TER file reference. Any map with a .TER file name longer than 12 total c...

Map making: Converting to and from Nitro Pack

There are (3) main differences in map headers between Interstate '76 and Nitro Pack: 1) Byte 25 - 1 byte difference in WDEF (6f - Nitro /62 - I'76) 2) Byte 45 - 1 byte difference in WRLD (53 - Nitro / 46 - I'76) 3) Byte 182 - 13 byte difference due to HZD reference (add for Nitro / remove for I'76) ...
