Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Heh...man, what a week. For those of you who missed it we tried and failed to get the ANET2 server recompiled onto a "modern" version of the OS last night. However, rumor has it that there's another build in the works for testing tomorrow... ...that way we don't murder things out (again) tonight. :D...

Fobidden!

Hey kids, we're working on upgrading the ANET2 server to something modern...

If you see the error, stand by. We're trying to keep it to 30 minutes at a time.

I'll move this to the ANET2 forum at 8:30 when we're either live on the new box or cut back over to the old one.

See you soon!

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

Slidin' into Tuesday like it's still a Monday...W000000! :? Anyway, looks like we're 5x5 for the event tonight and I should be starting around 6:00pm Pacific. I'm not sure what we should do for a challenge maps, though. We've done both flavors of "test track", Offroad, Slipstream and DM Track III in...

Odd...it's like there's a missing post for the event on Sunday...

Oh well...

Anyway, I'll see you kids around 6:00pm Pacific!

Re: Controller Configuration

Rest assured, any controller with a functioning X/Y axis and two working buttons will make you *SIGNIFICANTLY* better than using a keyboard unless that's all you had back in the day.

We'll be firing up the TNE in about an hour and fifteen minutes.

Try and swing by.

Backspace to chat.

Re: The Tuesday Night Event!

BARK!

That is all...

...nah, not really. I just didn't have a ton of time to plan tonight's event this morning.

Anyway, I think we'll probably start out at Slipstream 1.1 and see if I can coax a boat across the big gap.

:D

I think I can....dig?

Re: Controller Configuration

Well, us crusty vigs all swear by our Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro USB joysticks...they're infinitely predictable. Rumor has it GrizZz and Ride are using the new Logitecs with great success, too. That being said, I'm not familiar with any game pads that let you bind X/Y to a single toggle, unl...

Re: Sunday Drivers!!

You spelled "Fourth of July" wrong but that's OK...

...we'll just ignore the French occupation of Quebec and let you have your day.

I'll see what I can do about hosting a game.
